Animal chiropractor and rehabilitation veterinarian, Dr Molly Flaherty, offers chiropractic care at The Animal Hospital at the Shores. Chiropractic care is a holistic approach to help many health and performance problems for pets. Based on movement and symmetry, chiropractic care focuses on the health and proper movement of all joints in the body, but especially the proper functioning of the spinal column. Chiropractic care does not replace traditional veterinary medicine and surgery but offers an alternative method that complements traditional care. Used concurrently, many of your pet’s musculoskeletal conditions respond dramatically and rehabilitation can take place quickly. Dr. Flaherty is available to do an adjustment at our practice on a referral basis/by appointment only. Pets must first be evaluated by Dr. Behrens prior to referral.
